Jennifer Cooledge was born and raised in the Finger Lakes and discovered Pilates in an unexpected way, just steps from her own home. While living above the future home of Vault Pilates in Geneva, she got to know the founders as they prepared the studio and attended her very first class on opening day.
What began as curiosity quickly became something much more meaningful. With no formal movement background, Jennifer was drawn to Pilates as a grounded, mindful way to become stronger and more connected to her body. Through consistent practice, she began moving with greater ease, experienced less foot and hip pain, and gained a new appreciation for what her body was capable of.
Jennifer’s own health and movement journey has shaped the way she approaches Pilates. After years of making significant lifestyle changes, she found that the practice offered not only physical benefits, but also a sense of focus, calm, and capability that extended beyond the studio.
Now pursuing instructor certification through Balanced Body, Jennifer is excited to share Pilates with others who may feel intimidated by movement or unsure of where to begin. She is especially passionate about helping people discover that progress is possible from any starting point.
Outside the studio, Jennifer works as a supervisor across multiple departments in electronics manufacturing and also serves as a robotics programmer, operator, and trainer. In her free time, she enjoys walking by the lake, hiking, camping, reading, painting, and gaming.
