Dylan Kennedy, co-founder of Vault Pilates, brings a unique blend of artistry, entrepreneurship, and leadership to the studio. A native of Penn Yan, NY, Dylan began his career as a professional violinist, earning a Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory.

Praised for his “exceptionally well-crafted dynamics and phrasing” (Sarasota Herald-Tribune), Dylan performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. An advocate for the arts, he was the first-ever recipient of three Entrepreneurial Musicianship awards from the New England Conservatory and founded the Keuka Lake Music Festival in 2017.

Dylan later earned his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and has since served as COO of Blue Sky Homes, a “smart and green” real estate development company in Phoenix, AZ, and as Head of Asset Management at Flock Homes.

Originally skeptical of Pilates (and his own ability to do it), Dylan was quickly won over after experiencing its benefits firsthand. He now firmly believes that Pilates has something to offer everyone, regardless of age, experience, or fitness ability.

When he’s not at the studio, Dylan enjoys real estate entrepreneurship, traveling, and spending time on Keuka Lake with his wife Amy and their standard poodle, Nala.
