Monika Reineke grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and earned a BFA in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine. In 2005, Monika was diagnosed with severe scoliosis after experiencing persistent shoulder impingements. When her doctor prescribed Pilates as part of her treatment, it opened the door to a new way of understanding movement. Through her personal journey, she discovered a range of motion she didn’t know was possible—and a passion for mindful, restorative movement that would shape her career.
Monika completed her Comprehensive Pilates Certification in 2009 through Kore Pilates in La Jolla, California, and has been teaching ever since. Her focus is on empowering clients to feel their best, both physically and mentally. By emphasizing the recruitment of the right muscle groups for each movement, she helps clients progress in strength, stamina, and flexibility, while enhancing overall wellness.
She creates a fun and supportive environment where clients are motivated to reach their full potential. Whether you're aiming to improve posture, alleviate discomfort, or build body confidence, Monika ensures every session provides a full-body workout that engages both body and mind. With a unique ability to connect movement to awareness, she equips clients with the tools they need to move with ease and confidence—both in the studio and in daily life.
